ABOUT KARRIE
I work best with adults who are thoughtful, driven, and a little tired of spinning their wheels — people who want a therapist who will be genuinely present, creatively engaged, and honest with them. My job is not to have all the answers. It's to help you find yours, faster and with less struggle than you'd manage alone.
My path into this field began with art therapy — not because I expect every client to pick up a paintbrush, but because it trained me to think differently about people and change. It taught me that the most effective solutions are often creative ones, and that a rigid, by-the-book approach rarely serves complex, intelligent people well. When someone is truly stuck, a fresh angle and an unexpected approach can unlock what months of conventional thinking couldn't. That creative problem-solving lens is something I bring to every session, whether we ever touch an art material or not.
I have been a licensed therapist since 2007. Outside the therapy room I am a clinical supervisor, a former university instructor, and someone who has spent a career thinking seriously about what actually helps people grow — not just feel better in the moment, but genuinely shift.
